 The General Manager of Al Sorayai USA asked me to redesign his website. He wanted something more colorful and professional than his previous website. In addition, he wanted to add functionality to the site.
The new site has an administrative section and a section for customers to check on the status of their orders. Both are accessed through a Login page.
The purpose of these sections are twofold:
1. To allow customers to view current order information at their convenience. 2. To free up the local office from answering so many inquiries from their customers regarding order status.
The adminstrative section allows Al Sorayai to enter information on customer orders including order status and shipping information. They are able to upload packing lists so customers can view this information online. Order status information can be updated either by the local office or by the factory in Saudi Arabia.
Customers have the ability to view their order status information at their convenience. In addition, they can print out a summary report of their orders or a detailed report of an individual order.
